Create the Drop
First, make sure your account is set up as a Publisher, and make sure you are on the desktop browser. Next, click “Storefront” (or “Publish”) in the upper right hand corner and navigate to the Publisher you want to publish under, then click “Create a Drop”. This will take you to your manage drops page.
Click “Create a Drop” and select “Limited Edition”. It will be titled “My New Drop” by default. Click the text of the drop button to edit it, and enter the new name “Summers in Tokyo”.
This drop evokes the summers in Tokyo you spent in your youth; the endless dream days of August.
Set the Basic Drop Info and Images
Go ahead and leave the Start and End Time alone, but this is where you will eventually configure when your drop starts.
Now we will create the Drop Thumbnail. This is the Thumbnail for this drop on Nifty. Download this image by right clicking and clicking ‘Save Image As’:
Then drag and drop or click to upload it into the area that says “Drop Thumbnail”.
Set the On Chain Owner Wallet (optional)
Note - if you don’t know what an Ethereum wallet is, it is ok to skip this step.
Once your drop is Published, it will show up in other marketplaces such as OpenSea or LooksRare.
If you want to edit this collection on other marketplace, configure royalties there, change the description or do anything else, you can set the On Chain Owner Wallet. This wallet will be marked as the Owner of the smart contract and will be able to control the collection there. Simply enter a valid Ethereum wallet address here to have it get marked as the owner. You’ll also see there’s a section for getting your collection signed, which establishes provenance by tying it to a wallet. We will skip this for now but you can read more about it here.
Build the Drop Page
Congrats, you’ve set the basic drop info! We will briefly create the drop page, before we come back to this later in more detail!
Click on “Create Drop Page” on the sidebar.
Enter “summersintokyo” followed by your name as the Page Link. This will be the permalink for your drop. It must be globally unique across all of Nifty Gateway - so add a random word to the end of “summersintokyo” to make it unique.
Next, download this image then upload it as the drop banner:
This is rich banner that describes the drop mechanics and shows off the NFT assets in detail.
and set the Page Text to:
