Add Your First NFT:
Click “Add NFTs” on the sidebar and click the button that says “+ Add”. This will make a new NFT that you can drop!
First, edit the NFT Title. Change it to “Summers in Tokyo”
Then, download this image to your computer:
Upload it to the “NFT” section. Skip the ‘artist’ section for now and put “When I think of those long hot summers in Tokyo, I know I will never again be sad.” in description.
Pick the Drop Type and Mint 1,000 NFTs in 1 Transaction:
Nifty Gateway has incredibly powerful tools for releasing NFTs. To start, we will make a simple drawing NFT, which is a very quick process on Nifty Gateway.
Scroll down to the field that says “Drop Type” and click ‘Drawing’. This is the NFT Drop Type. When you create a drop it will mint a number of ERC 721 tokens; what you select here will control how those NFTs get released.
There are many different options for releasing an NFT, as you can see - for now, just stick with drawing.
Set the price to $10, and the edition size to 1,000.
When you mint an NFT on Nifty Gateway’s drop builder, all NFT editions are minted in a single transaction. So regardless of whether this is an edition of 10, 10,000, or 10,000,000, it will cost the same price to mint - which will only be the cost of one transaction.
You will only pay to mint when you Publish the drop as well - and we aren’t there yet.
